This picture was inspired by the idea that in our youth punk rock music was the basis of communication and acquaintance with like-minded people from different countries. This saved us from rejection, hatred, social differences that alienate you from ordinary people.
For us as Ukrainians - even more. Communication with Russians took place through a sub-culture and we rarely showed each other our national and political identity. The war unleashed by Russia buried the old subcultural ties and revealed the chasm of identity between us. These prints were printed by hands in Ukraine during the blackout caused by russian shelling of the infrastructure of Ukrainian cities.
